Acceptance

Using the Lakoom app means you accept these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the app.

Lakoom is not a safety device

This is the most important clause in this document. Lakoom is a convenience tool. A phone alarm depends on things outside our control: a drained battery, a phone that is off or restarting, a system update, revoked permissions, battery-saver modes, hardware faults, or changes Apple makes to iOS. Do not rely on Lakoom as your only means of waking for anything you cannot afford to miss, such as a flight, an exam, taking medication, a work shift, or any medical or safety matter. For those, also use a standalone alarm clock. We are not liable for any loss arising from an alarm that failed to ring, rang late, or was not heard.

Missions and physical activity

Some missions involve movement, physical effort, or going outdoors. Perform them with judgement, according to your health and your surroundings. Never perform a movement mission while driving, or in any situation where it could endanger you or others. Photo verification is automatic and imperfect: it may accept a wrong photo or reject a correct one. So that an alarm can never trap you, the mission passes automatically after a few rejections.

Subscriptions

Some missions require a paid subscription; the rest of the app is usable without one. The rate and any trial period are shown inside the app and on the App Store at the time of purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If a trial is offered and you do not cancel it before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription.

Cancellation and refunds

Subscription management and cancellation happen in your App Store subscription settings, not through us. We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf and we do not process refunds: refund requests go to Apple.

Changes to the service

We may add, change or remove features. If a feature included in your subscription is removed, we will give notice in the app beforehand.

Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer the app, attempt to circumvent payment, or use the photo verification service for anything other than completing a mission in the app.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under Israeli law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
